Lobos 1707 was born of our founder Diego Osorio’s
restless creativity

A WiDE-RANGiNG ARTIST whose family history is steeped in the Sherry wines of southern Spain, Diego headed to Mexico looking to create something. with one eye to the past, he thought hecould see his future.

generations prior, sharing a name, bloodline and wanderlust with his descendant and ‘tocayo,’ left Spain for Mexico in approximately 1707. HE BROUGHT WiTH HiM BARRELS OF SWEET PX SHERRY WiNE FROM JEREZ, And when those barrels were empty he refilled them with the local agave spirit and returned to Spain.

Researching his family history, Diego discovered lore of this delicious, Sherryfinished spirit, and recognized the opportunity before him: to recreate a family legacy fusing his ancestor’s methods with his own.

The results are impossible to dispute.

It starts with agave. It finishes with sherry.

ALL LOBOS 1707 expressions are additive free and finished in Pedro ximénez sherry wine barrels for an exceptionally delicious balanced spirit.
